PWN Honors Five Women at Annual Summer Soirée
The Professional Women’s Network (PWN) honored five business women at their annual Summer Soiree held Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood, IL. The summer event to celebrated successful women using their power in the non-professional arena.

With over 60 women from the south suburbs attending, PWN took the opportunity to recognize the following women, Courtney J. Alexander, Homewood-Flossmoor High School career internship coordinator, SAT/Act testing coordinator, and freshman class sponsor; Deborah Gary, owner, Paint On Me; Christine Longo, on behalf of Sandy Christofanelli, president of It’s A Service Thing; Debbie Macenas, job developer, Sertoma Centre, Inc.; and Dorri McWhorter, CEO YWCA Metropolitan Chicago.

“This is our annual event celebrating the success of women in business. Our focus this year has been on how women have the power to do great things in our community. The event showcased five women who are excelling in the non-profit sector,” said Felicia Houston, PWN president. The event was moved this year to Ravisloe Country Club where the ambiance and lush garden setting was the perfect place for the summer event.
