A real-talk series hosted by Professional Women’s Network

Our next Courageous Conversation will focus on the basics of racism and how to go deeper to minimize its effects within various institutions. In this time of unrest, we must come together and pave the way for effective and positive change.

This will be a safe space for women to unite with open minds and hearts. We invite you to submit questions about race to by September 24th. These questions will be addressed during the event. To protect your privacy, no names will be shared. Questions also will be encouraged during the discussion.

This event is free and open to the public.

About the Facilitator:

Barbara is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation and works with individuals and teams in leadership transformation and strategic partnerships. She is a master trainer in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Trauma-Informed for Faith Communities. She is also a Certified Facilitator for the Healthy Congregations curriculum, which is based on Bowen Family Systems theory. She holds B. A. and M.S degrees in Criminal Justice and Justice Administration, respectively. She received the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from McCormick Theological Seminary. She is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and has called Chicago home for 35 years. She endeavors to live with integrity and joy.
