With her own range of experiences behind her, April hopes to encourage young women involved in the Professional Women’s Network Mentor program to develop strong confidence and networking skills for today and tomorrow.
April Odom is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of healthcare experience. She serves her profession and her community by serving on multiple Board of Directors (Vice-President of ISAPN, Executive Director of Development of T.E.A.M Nurses and Mentoring chair of PWN). As an entrepreneur, she manages a wellness clinic Physicals Plus, with a focus on prevention of chronic disease. As an educator she teaches patients, families and other health professionals the latest evidence-based practices. As a mentor she supports the next generation of health professionals, business owners and youth.
